This paper aims to understand how the export of products can be a strategy to minimize the stocks of a wholesale company in a simulation environment. It was necessary to evaluate the performance of a simulated company in a management laboratory discipline, in addition to creating a new market and its rules for exporting its products. The present study is characterized as exploratory and uses the qualitative and the quantitative approach to present a theoretical framework on strategy and game of companies, to contextualize how made the export and to quantify the returns that this strategy brought to the company. We concluded that exports helped to increase sales but that it would be more effective if used in earlier quarters of the business game. In addition, it does not guarantee an improvement in other financial indicators, such as Net Margin and Return on Shareholders' Equity.
