Use of DSS (decision support system) in spreadsheet format for application to business games

The purpose of this study is to understand the application of a decision-making system in the business game environment, developed in the Excel spreadsheet format to assist the industry in the business game environment. The product of this technological solution involves the development of a DSS (Decision Support System) designed to improve decision-making within a business simulation. Considering the context in which GregoMix is inserted, we identified a common difficulty among the vast majority of students in understanding the complexity and uncertainty regarding the decisions made, due to the difficulty of interpreting a large volume of financial and operational data. As a result of this product, we aim to facilitate the control and processing of data in a precise and efficient manner, maximizing the results of companies and ensuring a competitive advantage together with other teams.
