The editorial in this edition of the journal of the Simulated Organizational Management Laboratory promotes reflection on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the future of educational activities and the new relationship between teachers and students with digital educational technologies and their virtual nature. The consequences of the actions of social distance caused a provisional adaptation that in the case of educational activities occurred with the acceleration of the digitalization of school routines, but the return will produce a new normal that may be blended learning and it is suggested that teachers and students see this as a new opportunity and not as a challenge.
