The literature exposes the need to better understand the educational environment in Administration oriented to entrepreneurship so that the construction of knowledge must be based on reflection, creativity, innovation and execution. The Management Laboratory's proposal, as an educational approach based on the assumptions of experiential learning, constitutes an important research environment contextualized in the current discussions of Entrepreneurial Education (EE). The present research, therefore, investigated the social capital factors (content, governance and structure) associated with the elaboration and future consolidation of the Management Laboratory with society and the scientific community. It was found that this educational approach has characteristics of academic entrepreneurship (EA) and needs greater efforts to be disseminated and used by academic and organizational institutions. The literature reveals that social capital provides guidelines for policies and can guide how to encourage professionals in university settings to strengthen their social networks and raise capital. Then, using the technique of oral history, professor and doctor Murilo Alvarenga de Oliveira, responsible for the implementation of the Management Laboratory at Universidade Federal Fluminense was interviewed. Through content analysis, it was possible to analyze the factors content, governance and structure, aspects of social capital, relevant to the greater scientific consolidation of the educational approach in question.
