The objective of the study is to propose a systematic procedure for evaluating an experiential project management program, which is developed by a theoretical model that consists of the premises in project management skills and attitudes, to propose a model for the functional study for application in an undergraduate course in administration at an IFES. To systematize the model, qualitative research was carried out through a literature review to provide a means of evaluating the procedure in educational institutions that incorporate experiential learning into the traditional teaching method for project management disciplines, thus suggesting the theoretical model that specifies relationships between the variables of theory and practice for the development of the student and its effects on the educational environment, collaborating with the development of the student and incorporation of knowledge, practices, and attitudes of the project manager. To evaluate the procedure in educational institutions, a theoretical model was indicated with questions that specify relationships between the variables of theory and practice for student development and its effects on the academic environment.
